About: Salty Vegan

Hi, I’m Hannah – the founder of SaltyVegan, a beachwear brand shaped by a lifelong love of the ocean and a deep desire to protect it.

The sea has always been my happy place. I grew up spending endless summers on the beach, sun-kissed, salty-skinned and sand between my toes ...and I’ve basically been chasing that feeling ever since. These days, I’m lucky enough to live on the Kent coast, where I get to see the sea every day (and yep, I still get excited every single time). Whether I’m out paddleboarding, wingfoiling, or just watching the waves roll in with a brew in hand, the ocean never fails to fill me with awe.

That love for the sea runs through everything I do. I’m vegan, environmentally conscious, and doing my best to tread as lightly as I can, but like so many of us, I’ve been heartbroken by the amount of plastic and pollution choking our oceans. It's overwhelming at times… but it’s also what pushed me to take action.

So, I started SaltyVegan, a small (...as in, it's literally just me!) sustainable beachwear brand for people who love the sea as much as I do, and want to help protect it. Wherever I can, I use recycled ocean plastics or eco-conscious materials, working with kind and ethical manufacturers who share that same respect for the planet.

This brand is for the wave-chasers, beach walkers, ocean swimmers and salty-skinned souls who feel most at home by the water. If that sounds like you, then this is your space too. Let’s wear our values, ride the waves, and do better – together.
