🌊 About Me

Hi, I’m Hannah – the founder of SaltyVegan, an apparel brand shaped by a lifelong love of the ocean and a deep desire to protect it.

The sea has always been my happy place. I grew up spending endless summers on the beach, sun-kissed, salty-skinned and sand between my toes ...and I’ve basically been chasing that feeling ever since. These days, I’m lucky enough to live on the Kent coast, where I get to see the sea every day (and yep, I still get excited every single time). Whether I’m out paddleboarding, wingfoiling, or just watching the waves roll in with a brew in hand, the ocean never fails to fill me with awe.

That love for the sea runs through everything I do. Environmentally conscious and vegan, I'm doing my best to tread as lightly as I can, but like so many of us, I’ve been heartbroken by the amount of plastic and pollution choking our oceans. It's overwhelming at times… but it’s also what pushed me to take action.

🌱 My Goals

I believe fashion shouldn’t cost the Earth - that every piece we wear can carry a story of respect for the planet. That’s why I’ve started SaltyVegan, a small (...as in, it's literally just me!) sustainable apparel brand. I've chosen to curate and create products that reflect that mindset: ethical, vegan, and inspired by the sea.

SaltyVegan isn’t just about clothing - it’s about building a community.
I want this space to bring together people who share the same love for the ocean, adventure, and conscious living. My goal is to create a place where like-minded souls can connect, inspire each other, and do good together.

I am so proud to share that with every item sold from my watersports design range a donation is made to Surfers Against Sewage via Work for Good. Their mission to protect oceans, beaches, and marine life couldn’t align more perfectly with ours.

And in the long run? I’d love to develop a line made from recycled ocean plastics - turning waste into something wearable. It’s a bigger challenge (and more expensive) than I expected, but it’s something I’m determined to make happen. Watch this space.
